We’re Growing and Growing!
We finally got our blog up and running again! We can now keep you updated on all that’s a buzz on the farm!
The growing season was a little stressful the first half of July due to extreme heat and no rain! On Saturday, July 10th, we got 2.6″ of rain…which saved the crops. Another 2.6″ on the 12th and 13th…with more rain in the forecast! What’s that they say about “feast or famine?!”
Our sunflowers continue to be absolutely beautiful and plentiful…and they are guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
We have started to pick a few vegetables…eggplant, peppers, a few tomatoes…within two weeks they will be coming in fast and furious! And our sweet corn should be on the stand in a week or two!
